Sedation dental treatment has continued to evolve dramatically over the last 40 years as more options are made available to patients. In order to perform sedation, dentists are required to become accredited and complete additional training. However, its widespread acceptance and use has come about more slowly than medical sedation.

Fortunately, dental sedation is now used worldwide. It has proven to be a safe and effective option for a variety of patients and procedures. Depending on the extent of the work being done and the needs of the individual patient, we offer three different methods: Intravenous Conscious Sedation (IV), Inhalation sedation and Oral sedation.

Our traditional braces are the standard orthodontic treatment option revamped with quality materials, increased comfort, and minimized visibility. We use high-grade stainless steel, thin arch-wires, and a wide range of elastic colors, allowing you to customize your braces.

Our clear braces, made out of ceramic, are the limited visibility variety of traditional braces.. Clear braces offer all the benefits of traditional braces with decreased noticeability.

Dental Emporium provides a variety of surgical and non-surgical dental treatment services for periodontal issues. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are very conservative in our treatment recommendations and limit surgery to the areas where it is absolutely necessary.

The early stages of periodontal disease are often best treated with non-surgical periodontal therapy. Even in severe cases, non-surgical periodontal therapy often precedes surgical therapy. This is done to improve the overall tissue quality prior to surgery and also to help limit the areas requiring surgery.

Routine dental check-ups provide  an opportunity for you to get your teeth and gums cleaned to prevent cavities, plaque build-up and disease. Plus, regular teeth cleanings give you a brighter, whiter smile and eliminate gum decay or disease to maintain healthy teeth and gums.

At Dental Emporium we recommend the gold standard of oral hygiene which includes a scale and polish visit to our oral hygienist once every 6 months.

We do minor oral surgeries including the removal of wisdom teeth. These procedures can be done in the dental chair in the practice or during general anaesthetic. It should only take a few days for you to heal and feel back to normal.

Wisdom teeth are a third set of molars in the back of your mouth. They usually come in between the ages of 17 and 25, and they’re spotted on X-rays. Most people have them removed due to impaction, incorrect growth or capacity.

We are one of the few practices with an in house Orthopantomogram machine more commonly known as an OPG or panoramic X-ray. This eliminates the need to refer patients to a specialist x ray facility and means that they will be able to do a panoramic x-ray and discussion about the findings in a single appointment instead of three.

At Dental Emporium we offer this type of specialised panoramic x-ray which is not available at many dental practices in the UK. This means an additional referral appointment to a specialist radiography center would not be needed, saving you a great deal of time, effort and money.

Invisalign ® clear aligners is a dental treatment that can help straighten minor to complex teeth misalignment. The length of treatment can take on average 6 months, but this is dictated by your Invisalign® doctor depending on how complicated your case is.

Most people feel a difference wearing Invisalign® aligners after three months, and results are usually noticeable after six months.

Our doctors and dental wizards perform root canals in one visit on anterior, pre-molar and molar teeth. We use the latest rotary root canal technology. This allows us to minimize visits to the practice and make the root canal experience much more comfortable and predictable.

A tooth can become infected for a variety of different reasons including chips, breaks, decay, untreated cavities, and traumatic injury.

If you have multiple teeth missing or all teeth missing from your lower and/or upper jaw, your dentist at Dental Emporium may recommend dentures to replace your missing teeth.

Modern dentures look real like your natural teeth and are comfortable. These are manufactured in a specialist lab very near to the practice, so turnaround time is significantly reduced.

Unlike dentures, implants offer more stability and support for your teeth, while also being virtually indistinguishable from your natural teeth. They do not move along your gums and can also improve your ability to speak and chew.
